Our conversation about being a hero in our classroom has continued!
Next week, we will be working on how we can be heroes in our lives and in the lives of those around us.
We will be continuing with the 7 Habits of Happy Kids and our Emotions booklet, reviewing the Zones.
Our math groups will continue as we estimate, compare, and complete math tasks related to tallies, skip counting, fact families, place value, more than/less than, even/odd and regrouping.
Our literacy groups will continue as we work with reviewing letter sounds, making predictions and connections, and practicing using plurals, capitals, and improving our handwriting.
This week, one group combined their tallying skills with counting vowels in their guided reading.
We will be using some of our gym and music time next week to ramp up our Press Start rehearsals.
Our composting program will continue as we continue to track our collections and try to reduce our ecological footprint and garbage!
