On November 27th, 2018, Calgary Transit will visit Cambrian Heights School to teach students about transit buses and C-Trains.
Students will participate in activity stations in the gym, including: a transit presentation; meeting Calgary Transit peace officers and Transit Teddy; touring a transit bus; and meeting a bus driver! Each grade grouping will complete a 30-minute rotation at each station.
Students will learn more about how to take public transportation, public transportation safety, as well as expected behaviour on transit buses and C-Trains.
To further develop their community navigation skills, the Paced Learning Program will also be taking a bus tour through the neighbourhood to build on this school-wide activity and their transit classroom presentation from earlier in the month.
