We will be reviewing our numeracy goals including number sense.
We will be updating our desk bins and sending some work home.
We will revisit the fun that we had with water beads and slime last week and look at some creative ways people have used it and why slime is not a liquid or a gas.
On Friday, March 15, 2019, we will also be having a class
lunch called taco in a bag. It consists of tomato, lettuce, ground beef, sour
cream and Doritos. Food will be provided by staff and students will practice
their food prep skills by helping staff cut the vegetables and apply table
manner skills. Please let me know of any
possible allergy or food restrictions with this meal.
On Friday, March 15th, we also have our second round of CAD round 3. It should be a lot of fun!

Telus Spark
We had an amazing day at Telus Spark yesterday! An employee said that we had one of the best behaved groups for our age group.
When we got back, we worked on a field trip journal about what we learned and saw at Telus Spark and how it connects to what we have learned at school. We also grabbed some new library books!
Today, we added in our learning styles and goals into Iris. We also enjoyed playing gym games with The Class students.
We also enjoyed root beer floats to review liquid, solid and gas!

We connected our knowledge of liquid, solid and gas with water, ice, and air.
We have been brainstorming ideas for our spring concert.
We played ukeleles in music!
After reading Lemonade Wars yesterday, we wrote down something nice about one of our classmates and gave it to them. It made a lot of people smile :)
We reviewed what directions are on a compass and what items we can sort at home.
We took a survey to learn about what kind of learner we are! Lots of us like to move around and build things!
We are excited for our field trip tomorrow!
